Loving God, I am forever grateful for your outpouring love and generous blessings. All my life you have been there to guide my way. These past few days, I have been feeling kind of down. There are a lot of circumstances I experience in my daily life which can make me sad. Since I perform the same tasks every single day, life can become monotonous and boring. I’m in a rut and I know that you can provide me with the joy I experienced years ago. Help me find new friends so they may provide the joy and excitement that I’m looking for. Lord, I know you are my solution to the problem. I know that there is still hope for me. Please help me bring back joy into my life. I want to be able to get the most out of life. I want to enjoy my day-to-day regardless of how repetitive days may be at times. Give me the courage and willpower to try something new. Help me recognize experiences I may normally miss that may give me that joy I’m looking for. Fill my heart with gladness, so that I may confidently share your word and teachings with other people. Prayer for Happiness
Heavenly Father, today I come to you in prayer asking for the gift of happiness. I truly believe that I can only achieve it when I feel content with the things I have in life. Help me to appreciate what I have. Sometimes I look at the world and wonder if there is any hope for us. I think about the way we treat each other and how things never seem to change for the better. These thoughts can be a bit upsetting at times. I wonder how so many people call themselves Christians but treat each other this way. Grant me happiness and joy. Help illuminate the good in the world so that I can take notice in a world mostly cast in darkness. With your help I know I’ll be able to achieve true happiness. Please help me become fully content with the life I have. You have showered me with so many blessings, and I’m very thankful for them.
