The Bible consists of many verses and chapters of varying lengths, but there is no chapter shorter than Psalm 117. The original text in Hebrew consists of only 17 words and 62 characters. The number of words and characters may vary depending on the translation, language, version, etc. The American Standard Version consists of 29 words and 164 characters:

This represents the unity of faith between Jews and Christians as gentiles before weren’t permitted to join in the praise of God. Anyone who believes in God is welcome in Heaven.
This Psalm is also part of the Hallel which is a Jewish thanksgiving prayer that is recited to give praise to Yahweh. It is said during the first night of Pesach. The entirety of the prayer is Psalm 113 – 118. Some scholars have made the argument that this may have been the psalms that were sung by Jesus at the Last Supper. This idea is heavily debated and we will never know.
Just because it is a short chapter it doesn’t make it any less powerful or important. The Bible, in its entirety, is a way to grow closer to Jesus and to find one’s way into heaven. Psalm
